How listings are included

Directory listings are compiled from public information published by organizations themselves, from government referral directories, and from submissions sent to us. Each listing records where the information came from and the date it was last checked.

What verification labels mean

• Verified: the core details — name, location, contact information, and services — match what the organization publishes publicly, and were checked on the date shown on the listing.
• Partially verified: some details were confirmed and others could not be, which is stated on the listing.
• Unverified: the information has not been confirmed from a public official source. Listings in this state are clearly labeled and should be checked directly.

A verification label describes our editorial check. It is not a quality rating, an accreditation, a clinical recommendation, or a statement about outcomes.

Paid placements and sponsorship

At the time of publication, Alcoholic Outreach does not accept payment in exchange for inclusion in the directory, for ranking, or for placement on educational pages. If sponsored listings or advertising are introduced, they will be:

• Labeled clearly as sponsored wherever they appear
• Kept visually and editorially separate from verified listings
• Excluded from any implication of clinical recommendation or quality rating

The directory records a “sponsored” flag on each listing precisely so that this can be displayed when it applies.

Referral and intake services

Alcoholic Outreach does not currently operate a treatment placement or lead-generation service, and we do not accept payment for referrals. If such a service is ever added, it will require separate legal and compliance review before launch, and it will be disclosed here and at the point of use.

No guarantees

We do not guarantee treatment quality, accreditation, licensing, insurance acceptance, availability of beds, admission, or outcomes for any listed organization. Always verify details directly with the provider, and ask about costs and licensing before committing.

Analytics and advertising practices

We measure aggregate site activity to understand what is useful. We do not sell information about visitors, and we do not use what you read about alcohol use to build advertising audiences. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.

Corrections

If a listing is inaccurate, mislabeled, or sponsored in a way that is not disclosed, tell us through the contact form or at hello@alcoholicoutreach.com, and we will correct or remove it.
